Daniel Herz

Daniel Herz is the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of WhiteHawk Energy. He sets the corporate vision of WhiteHawk, drives strategic execution, and leads day-to-day operations.

Prior to his founding of WhiteHawk Energy, Mr. Herz served as the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Falcon Minerals Corporation (NASDAQ: FLMN), from 2018-2021. From 2020 until 2021, he also served as a director to Falcon Minerals.

Prior to his time at Falcon Minerals, Mr. Herz served as the President of Atlas Energy Group (NASDAQ: ATLS) from 2015-2018, as well as the Chief Executive Officer of Titan Energy, LLC (NYSE: TTEN), and its predecessor Atlas Resource Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ARP) from 2015-2018, where he continued to serve as a Class A Director through April 2021. Mr. Herz served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy of the general partner of Atlas Energy from February 2011 until its sale to Targa Resources in February 2015 for $7.7 billion.

He also served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Atlas Energy and Atlas Energy Resources from August 2007 to February 2011 until its sale to Chevron Corporation for $4.3 billion. Mr. Herz also served as the Vice President of Corporate Development for Atlas Energy and Atlas Pipeline Partners beginning in 2004.

Mr. Herz graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
